This one is for all of you out there with a sweet tooth..and not regretting it!

For the first time (but definitely not the last) a quick email went round lately to give you the chance to choose the theme for this session and this is how we landed on cupcakes.

All the songs and rhymes we gathered for this yummy occasion like 'Pat a cake', 'Hot cross buns' or 'Teddy bears' picnic' made us want even more, so the children came to visit my baker's shop for at least 'Five currant buns'. We also met the 'Muffin man' before we decided to create a lovely flowery scene out of cupcake liners at the craft table.

We have also made a pencil topper in the shape of a cupcake. For tea we asked for help from Mary-Anne and Rosemary who are good at 'Mixing the porridge in the pan' and of course 'Polly put the kettle on' for us. We saw 'Little Miss Muffet' and did 'One potato, two potato' and some 'Pease porridge hot'.

Can you imagine how very hungry we literally became by the end of the session. Let's raise our little teacups and say cheers to many more fun sessions like this to come!
